We threw eight different malts into the mash for this one, layering roasted grains, caramel tones, and a touch of bitterness. Then we added a hefty dose of black treacle and some caramelised sugar to deepen the body and bring a dark, sticky sweetness.
The result? A smooth and warming stout with a subtle smokiness and a long, sweet finish. Balanced but bold. Strong but moreish. This one might just sneak up on you.
