Producer
Established 75 years ago, the Thomson Estate is one of the oldest grape growers in the Riverland area. Still a family owned concern, and now run by Andrew, they are unusual in the region in that they grow grapes and make and bottle their own wines. There is also great environmental awareness here with a project currently underway to restore some wetlands. The reds are characterised by their generous fruit, whilst the whites are unusually pure and elegant, with fine refreshing acidity.

Winemaking
Pressed then fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts at 14-18C over 21 days. Aged in tank for 6 months on the fine lees. Pvpp fined and filtered prior to bottling.
